Winthrop Wealth Team Member Completes 123rd Boston Marathon
We wanted to recognize our team member Alex on her recent accomplishment of running and finishing her first marathon. On Monday April 15th, 2019 Alex ran the 123rd Boston Marathon raising awareness and money for The Innovation in Breast Cancer Treatment Fund at Massachusetts General Hospital. Alex raised over $6,000 which will be used to provide scalp cooling to patients who cannot afford the cost. Scalp cooling reduces hair loss for patients undergoing chemo treatment.
