Lucas Winthrop is the Chief Operating Officer at Winthrop Wealth, where he collaborates with the leadership team to shape the firm’s strategic direction and plan. He plays a crucial role in focusing and marshaling firm resources to see the firm’s vision come to fruition. Lucas also serves as an advisory representative of Winthrop Wealth, engaging with many of our clients to provide advice and service.

Lucas was born into the business. From a young age, he spent his summers in the office learning the family business inside and out. He brings a creative perspective to a so-called ‘grey industry,’ working closely with his brother, Max, seeking to revolutionize the way their generation views and interacts with the financial landscape. Prior to joining the family business, Lucas spent time working as a research analyst at a boutique asset management firm.

Winthrop Wealth’s current strategic plan includes initiatives related to building exceptional teams, implementing innovative solutions, and designing streamlined processes and structures to help drive scalable, positive outcomes. With over a decade of experience in financial services, Lucas focuses on anchoring and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation that is ready to disrupt outdated industry practices or take advantage of disruption.

With a knack for entrepreneurship, Lucas also co-founded and worked as a CFO on a non-profit organization for 4 years, as well as co-founded a music entertainment company prior to graduating college.

Lucas is an active, outdoor enthusiast. Outside of the office, he enjoys being involved in many intermural sports, skiing, traveling and working with music.
