Winthrop Wealth – Secures and donates needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for front line health care workers
As reported, early on during the COVID 19 crisis, there was a significant shortage of PPE and in particular N95 masks for our front-line health care workers.
We were extremely fortunate to secure more than 1,000 KN95 and N95 masks in April and May. Winthrop Wealth donated the masks to MD Anderson Cancer Center, Tufts Medical Center, Holyoke Medical Center, Fenway Health, Milford Regional Care, Genesis Healthcare, the Boston Police Department and other front-line healthcare workers. We also made a monetary gift to a Boston-based COVID-19 relief fund that provided direct relief to grassroots non-profit organizations that have a history of effecting positive change at the community level – these non-profits are diverse in their missions which include advancing social, racial and economic injustice.
